As the first week of the challenge comes to a close there are a few things I have noticed:
- If my day isn’t planned ahead of time, I find myself struggling to get all the pillars accomplished. So, proper planning is a MUST.
- The 30 minute activity is proving to be the toughest for me to complete. It’s the one I tend to avoid the most – probably because I was in one of my slumps where I hadn’t been working out consistently before starting the challenge. Jumping from zero to 100 is HARD.
- I feel proud of myself for doing something that is challenging. I feel myself gaining self-confidence the longer I stick to my word.
This week also marks one month of my being on my gluten free and dairy free diet. I have recently gotten blood work, food sensitivity, and a gut health test done and had some interesting results. Leading to my gluten and dairy free diet.
With the regimen I am on, I will be allowed to incorporate dairy back into my diet in two weeks. I will remain gluten free for five more months. I have seen a tremendous difference in my overall well-being. I no longer am experiencing daily headaches, upset stomach or grogginess after eating, or bloating. I honestly didn’t realize how bad I was feeling until I began feeling so much better.
I will dig a little deeper in a future post on what lead me to want to get all those tests done, as well as, details on the regimen I am on and the why behind it.
Feeling better has helped me stick with the diet because I am already seeing such a huge difference!
We will see as the weeks continue what changes and differences I notice and can’t wait to share with you all!
Have you been doing the challenge? If so, what has been your biggest challenge? And have you noticed any differences?
